Our in-house design and engineering team act as a seamless extension of our customer’s business, providing solutions to challenging programmes, including the ownership of specific technical elements of any project. These activities can be undertaken at our head office or at any client location.
At DDC we know each customer requirement is different and the demands of each project vary. One of our major strengths is that we are able to assess and adapt to requirements of technical capability, manning levels, timing, delivery, and budget, whether we are introduced mid-cycle or involved from the outset. We have developed a methodology of being able to source and manage hard-to-find people as a project-specific complement to our own team.
The DDC team can work as a sub-set of a principal project team, where the customer retains design authority. Alternatively, DDC can operate as technical expert and design authority, assuming full responsibility for the integrity of the design, manufacturability, maintainability, sourcing of suppliers and sub-contractors, and the whole-life/in-service cost of the product or system.
